Online Returns Policy

SHAPES IN THE SAND is dedicated to customer service and ensuring that you are completely happy with your purchase. You can return your order through our returns portal here

Exchanges: If you decide to exchange an item, we’ll cover the shipping costs for sending your new order within Australia. Express post is also available for exchanges nationwide.

Returns: Please note that all discounted and sale items are final sale. A full refund is only applicable to non-sale items. We are happy to exchange your item(s) for another shape, size, or colour way, or for an online store credit.

Condition of Items: Items must be in their original condition, unworn, and unwashed, with all tags intact. Once the tags are removed, the garment cannot be returned. All returns from within Australia must be made within 14 working days of purchase, while international returns must be initiated within 25 days of shipping.

For hygiene reasons, please try on swimwear over your own underwear. We may refuse returns if it's clear that this guideline hasn't been followed, so ensure the protective sticker remains in place.

Each garment is carefully made and inspected before shipping. If you receive a faulty item, please email us at enquiries@shapesinthesand.com.au within 14 days. We will assess the item and offer a replacement of the same style. If a replacement is unavailable, you can choose an alternative item, a refund, or store credit for sale items.

Capsule Collections: SHAPES IN THE SAND offers capsule run collections, which means we cannot guarantee the availability of specific sizes or styles for exchanges. If the desired item is not available, we will provide you with online store credit. To ensure the longevity of your beautiful pieces, please follow the care instructions on the label.

Pre Orders
Due to the nature of our limited-edition collections, we do not accept cancellations on pre-orders. Each piece is made in small quantities with careful planning to minimise waste, ensuring a responsible production process. By placing a pre-order, you are securing a product that is made specifically for you. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to mindful purchasing.

Return Postage: Please note that return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. Ensure your return package is prepaid and insured to protect against loss or damage. Once we receive your return, we will notify you via email that your new package is on its way.
